1926
Construction of the first aerodynamic rotor blades for water conveyors using wood strips. These conveyors were used in agriculture.

In the 1970s
due to continual demand from the shipyard, the company acquired the know-how for handling and processing fibre reinforced plastics.

In the 1980s
Construction of rotor blades using fibre composites.

Beginning of the 1990s
Abeking & Rasmussen Rotec GmbH & Co. KG built what was the largest rotor blade in the world, measuring 40 m, for the 2-blade wind turbine AEOLUS II.

Since 2000
rotor blades are increasingly manufactured using vacuum infusion, a process which offers great reproducibility of large rotor blades while maintaining high laminate quality.
